I watched a well-known musical,Notre-Dame de Paris,with my cousin tonight.
It performed at 7:30 p.m.;however,it was really irritating that Taipei Arena(小巨蛋) didn't perform on tome. Not until 7:45 p.m. did it truely started to perform. What's more, people who were late actually could come in! This phenomenon seriously affected our minds to enjoy our time.
How on earth can it dare to proclaim that it is a cosmopolitan arena? What a shame! It claims to be a international arena;nonetheless, its performance is thoroughly inferior to other truely cosmopolitan arenas.
Other than Taipei Arena's terrible rules, the musical itself is extremely applaudable.
Before the musical performed,I've ever seen the main actors and main actress on TV.
Laurent Ban,played Phoebus,is much more handsome than the one on VCD. But,Nadia Bel,roled Esmeralda,in my eyes,is immensely less beautiful than the one on VCD. She doesn't have the glamorous feeling like Gypsy.
Matt Laurent, played Quasimodo,is actually a very attractive man. Though played a ugly man in musical,he is very handsome, literally. Nevertheless,it was really too bad it seemed that Quasimodo was not played by Matt Laurent....
At first,I very liked Laurent Ban because of his appearance. I confess that I'm an appearance-loving girl. >.<
However,as I saw Cyril Niccolai, roled Gringoire,I immediately changed my mind. Oh,my goodness! He is extremy "cute"! I know using "cute" to describe him is very strange,so...OK,he is very charming and cute! >///<
I've never known myself having a weakness until this moment. What's the weakness? I can't resist myself loving a foreign enchanting man with blond hair! Accordingly, that's why I love Darren, the most fascinating man under the sun, so much!
Oh! I'm so shy to confess that! (Oh-uh! I'm gradually influenced by Debby....)
Besides those spellbound men,the whole musical is tremondously splendid!
Fate,a formidable and untouchable thing, tightly binds everyone in Notre-Dame de Paris.
Quasimodo was ugly innately. His unattractive,or a little horrible appearance made him be abandoned by his parents and bullied by almost everyone. He fell in love with Esmeralda but couldn't win her love thanks to his appearance.
Esmeralda was an extremely glamorous woman. She should have owned a blissful life with her beauty. However, she and her mates were all expelled from one place to another for their identity,Gypsy. She was died eventually thanks to her alluring beauty.
Phoebus,a very handsome man,had a beautiful fiancee,Fleur-de-Lys,and a good job. But,he was attracted by Esmeralda later and got nothing after all thanks to his infidelity.
Frollo was a priest on Notre-Dame de Paris. He was originally owning God and faith iin his life. Notwithstanding,he unexpectedly had a crush on Esmeralda and couldn't help but indulge himself with Esmeralda's beauty and betrayed the Lord thanks to his desire.
Everyone in this musical has his/her inevitable fate.
Fate,only composed of four alphabets,grapples everyone's life....
Notre-Dame de Paris, originally written by Hugo,is a tragedy about the pursuit of love and freedom and the escape of the hold of fate in 15th century.
It's really a masterpiece!
