The following is my oral presentation's draft.
Just post it to memorize the wonderful time on the first semester of Conversation class!

Die Drei Musketiers
1. Alexandre Dumas' novel
2. Titled "The Three Musketeers",but actually dealing more with a fourth one,D'Artagnan
3. Time: 17th C
4. King: King Louis XIII,but the actual power rests in the hands of Cardinal Richelieu.
5. Place: Paris,France
6. Story:
6.1 In Southern France,D'Artagnan wanted to be a musketeer,just like his father.
6.2 He saw how the Hugenots(Protestants) and the Roman Catholics interact.
6.3 Acquainted with the three musketeers: Athos,Porthos and Aramis,and joined in their circle.
6.4 Fell in love with Constance,Queen Anne's lady-in-waiting.
6.5 Queen Anne gave Buckingham,queen's former lover and now prime minister of England,her diamond chain which constitutes part of the crown jewels to affirm their solidarity.
6.6 Milady de Winter,a femme fatale and a spy at the British court for the cardinal secretly told Rochefort, the evil accomplice of Cardinal Richelieu,the thing since Richelieu was the one who could help her get rid of her her stigmatising brand as a whore.
6.7 Richelieu suggests that the King to throw a large ball in honour of his birthday,so the royal couple must wear all the crown jewels.
6.8 Anne will be discovered as a traitor,and the furious king will give Richelieu permission to deal with the Hugenots.
6.9 Queen Anne asked D'Artagnan to go to England and get the diamond back.
6.10 Milady failed to steal the diamond with ruse and seduction
6.11 Richelieu didn't need Milady anymore and tried to put her off.
6.12 Milady directed her rage at Constance with poison.
6.13 D'Artagnan was only in time to hold the dying Constance in his arms.
6.14 Managed to returned the diamond to Queen Anne.
6.15 Richelieu was unmasked.
6.16 D'Artagnan's courage has been proved,and his dream is realized:the king appoints him as a musketeer.
